BWP 31 Bourbon Finished In White Port Barrel

Barrel BWP 31 is a cask strength straight bourbon whiskey finished in white port barrels. It is 8 years old and bottled at 115.82 proof and features a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley.  It was originally distilled in Indiana and bottled in Sparta, Kentucky.

Tasting Notes

NOSE Lightly floral, with candied ginger, confectionery, and crisp white grape.

PALATE Floral with white grape notes carrying through with delicate baking spices and a hint of citrus zest.

FINISH Notes of citrus zest and baking spice linger with toasted oak.
